The Senior Cloud AI Architect will serve as a principal technical authority within the Cloud Architecture team, owning the architectural vision, strategy, and delivery of AI-integrated solutions across the Cloud, Engineering, and Product organizations. This is a high-impact role driving our organization’s transformation toward Agentic AI – defining the blueprints for autonomous, intelligent systems that fundamentally reshape how we operate, scale, and deliver cloud services. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cloud architecture, strong software engineering discipline, and a visionary systems-thinking mindset to lead the convergence of AI and cloud at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architectural vision, reference architectures, and technical blueprints for AI-powered solutions embedded within cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Agentic AI systems.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for AI integration across Cloud Architecture, Engineering, and Product teams, aligning with organizational strategy and long-term platform evolution.
- Architect multi-agent AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making, self-healing, intelligent resource optimization, and proactive incident management across cloud environments.
- Serve as the principal architectural authority and mentor for engineers across the team, fostering a culture of architectural rigor, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and Cloud Operations to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and resilient AI-driven architectural solutions.
- Evaluate, select, and define integration patterns for foundational AI models, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel), and cloud-native AI services within enterprise-grade platforms.
- Lead the deployment and operationalization of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs) across cloud environments, selecting the right model class for each use case based on performance, cost, and latency trade-offs.
- Apply ML algorithms and AI techniques to analyze, model, and re-engineer business processes – driving intelligent automation, predictive decision-making, and data-driven process optimization across the organization.
- Establish and govern architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for AI/ML systems in cloud environments, ensuring security, reliability, compliance, and operational governance.
- Lead cross-functional architecture reviews, design councils, and technical strategy sessions; represent the Cloud Architecture team in executive and stakeholder forums.
- Drive proof-of-concepts and rapid prototyping initiatives to validate new Agentic AI use cases and inform architectural decisions.
- Stay at the forefront of AI, cloud, and distributed systems innovation; translate industry trends and emerging technologies into actionable architectural strategies for the organization.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying Agentic AI systems in enterprise or cloud-scale environments.
- Track record of contributing to or leading open-source AI/cloud projects or published architectural thought leadership.
- Advanced cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and AI governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices and AI-driven cost optimization strategies.
- Prior experience as a cloud architect or platform architect in SaaS or cloud-native product companies at scale.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or domain-driven design.
